In celebration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s 67th birthday, various government agencies gathered last September 13, for the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat” event, at The Atrium, The Bunker, Balanga City. The event aimed to bring essential government services closer to the people of Bataan.

Bataan Governor Joet Garcia led the celebration, alongside key officials from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Agriculture (DA), and other government agencies.

Key services offered during the event included a job fair, payouts for the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program, Government Internship Program (GIP) payouts, awarding of training support funds, scholarships for Technical-Vocational Institutions (TVIs), and the distribution of certificates for agricultural machinery. Additionally, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) held a learning session on labor standards.

The event was attended by DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Congressman Abet Garcia , Pusong Pinoy Partylist Congressman Jett Nisay, and other local officials, who expressed their support for President Marcos’ vision of accessible services for all Filipinos.

Simultaneously, a similar event was held in Orani, Bataan, led by Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman and Board Member Atty. Tony Roman at Plaza Antonino. The residents of Orani also benefited from various government services and assistance provided by DSWD.

Governor Garcia extended his gratitude to President Marcos and reiterated the local government’s commitment to ensuring the continued delivery of essential services to the people. “We are fully supportive of the President’s programs that bring comfort and assistance to every Filipino,” Garcia said.

Both events reflected the administration’s goal of providing “Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat,” ensuring that vital services reach the grassroots level.
